Recency is a recency tracking app for pilots. This page explains, in plain language, what happens to your data when you use it.
Recency does not have a server. We never see, store, or transmit your data to ourselves or any third party. Your records live on your device, and - if you choose - in your own private iCloud database.
The app stores the following on your device:
If you are signed in to iCloud and have iCloud Drive enabled for Recency, the app uses Apple's CloudKit framework to sync the data above between your Apple devices. Records are stored in your private CloudKit database, accessible only to you. Apple's handling of CloudKit data is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
We do not have access to the contents of your CloudKit database. We have no servers, no analytics endpoints, and no backend that receives your data.
Recency does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. There is no sign-up process, no profile, and no outgoing data.
If this policy ever changes - for example, if a future version of the app introduces a feature that does collect data - the new policy will be posted at this URL and the "Last updated" date above will change. If the changes are significant, we will surface them in the app itself before they take effect.
